Lydia Ehisuoria Ohonsi is a graduate from the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State, and had her law school in Kano State. She was called to the Nigeria bar in 2012. Before litigation, she has had a career in Sales & Company Secretariat/legal Compliance roles for different organizations.
Her areas of interest are litigation Corporate law Practice. She is an insolvency Practitioner, and also an affiliate member of Insol International. She has also been admitted to the Young International Council for Commercial Arbitration(ICCA). She is also a Student member of Lagos branch of Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators, also an Associate member of the Compliance institute for Banks & other Financial Institutions(CIN), As well as a student member of Association of Capital Market Solicitors.
In She hold a post-graduate degree from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology. (2019) Presently, She is a student of University of East London, United Kingdom, undergoing her Masters in Law degree(LLM) on partial scholarship by UNICAF.
She is a Member of the Human Rights &Welfare Committee of the Nigeria Bar Association, Lagos Branch. Legal adviser to LAAF(Life After Abuse Foundation) And Women Safe House(for survivor’s of abuse(Women & Young girls). She’s also a member of FIDA Nigeria & African Women Lawyers Association of Nigeria. She is also a member of the NBA Lagos Branch Human Rights & Welfare Committees, Member of NBA-Women Forum(NBA Section on Business law &Legal Practice Amongst others.
She is currently the Secretary of her Alumni Class worldwide.
